The heartburn easing along with the painful BH contractions are signs that you have dropped considerably. This does not mean you will go early, but since you went early with your first then it very well could happen again. Looser bowels are also a sign that baby has dropped. To help with the contractions, place a nice warm/hot (not too hot) towel underneath your belly, the heat will help. Pelvic pain could mean a few different things, mostly just the way the baby is laying. Hopefully baby will shift enough to ease some of that for you. My 5th baby was stuck on my pelvic bone and that is not something I wish on anyone. I would be sure to stay closer to home of course, and watch for possible passing of your "plug" (which does not always mean immediate labor) and other symptoms. If you want to test the contractions, walk about 2 to 3 blocks, if they go away they are just prepping you for labor to come.....if they are true they will continue (do this closer to your due date)! Good luck, and congratulations.

My first response would be to call and tell your doctor and see what they think since they know you and your history.. BUT as a mom to 5 i can tell you that my labor with #3 and #4 was only frm my hips down it was a crampy pain that i wrote off as annoying and come to find out that WAS my labor. I would jsut watch the timing of the contractions and if your water breaks. And any people you have on speed dial make sure numebrs are up to date and be ready. :) Good luck

More than likely it is just Braxton Hicks contractions. But if you think you are going into labor early talk to your doc. My second pregnancy was totally different than my first and they were both boys, so don't go by your first one for answers. More than likly the baby has dropped and you are just more uncomfortable, but if you are concerned or if the contractions become regular call your doc.

I had pelvic pain to but i had to get induced with all three of my kids. The pelvic pain is that the baby is laying there. It could be a sign of labor but if you are worried i would go see the dr. then.

yes, it's possible. i'd recommend contacting your doctor pronto to see what's going on. and i'd lay low for awhile, if you can with your other lil one running around.
