I go camping usually in Colorado, near Lake City and Leadville. Usually go alone - not to fond of other people near my tent...but I do usually take a couple friends along, and we have our own mini-campsite.

I used to go camping pretty regularly, but I haven`t in a while. But whenever we went camping we usually went in the woods, away from other people because we liked out privacy and we felt like if you were camping you should be in a tent and everything, not in cabins or anything like that.
We did sometimes go in cabins though, whenever it was cold or anything. And those are all up in rows, with a lot of people and everything.

I haven't gone camping in years since the time I went with an old best friend and her father but I was younger. I do want to go again. Camping is so much fun.

for the past few years I camp twice a year

-once for a NASCAR race weekend in the Poconos at a campground with many other campers and we raise hell all weekend

-and once with members of our Fire Dept at a campground where we pretty much keep to ourselves (but go into town to raise hell with other F/F)

It has been a long time since I've been camping. I would really like to go when the weather is warmer.

We have done both, We prefer the Army Corp of Engineer campgrounds because they are farther apart than most campsites.

Last time I went camping, I was burnt to a proverbial crisp...That and the lack of toilet facilities have done wonders for keeping me home...Not to mention the snakes and spiders...And flys...mozzies...heat....
