For me it always has been, yes. More so the Moon than the stars, but I find peace in looking at the night sky and knowing that dear friends may be looking at the same sky. I've always loved the night, and so the stars and Moon have always held a special place in my heart.
While I do enjoy being alone under the night sky, it is nice to share it with someone special as well... :)

there is a place not far away from the city lights where the stars look so close and many more, the moon looks so much clear, and larger, makes me feel like I am the only one on earth, feel so much better when I get back it puts all in perspective for me and I know a higher power had to create all that.

I like to think about what was happening when I look at stars and wonder about what people were doing. When you look at a star your not seeing it now, your seeing it as it looked many years ago. For example if a star is 75 light years away, that is what it looked like then and it takes 75 years for the light to reach us. It changed my thinking about star gazing. HNY

Looking at the stars and moon usually makes me feel like i can do just about anything, cuz it's so wide and open and endless. just like the possibilities we have in life.

where i live it is dull - cos the city lights wipe out the view.
But I was in montville over xmas and the sky is stunning - the stars look so low - like cherries hanging from a tree. that made me feel small and insignificant - like a spider....
