Dinesh Karthick is one who was out of team for no fault of his. His keeping is not sub standard as that of some of his predecessors who donned the gloves for India. But the fact that Dhoni was performing so well with the bat and also was not poor with the glove work was responsible for his axing. Now that Dhoni is injured and when called upon he is doing the job perfectly well. It is always nice to have a competetion for places.

YES, he is an above average person.& he is overshadowed by mahi.mahi at first batted well.but now?we could'nt find him in the rating in top 10 list.kartic is not too young.do u know? he is married.he is a very good player & is the best wk for our team.ratio between dinesh & mahi will be70:30.kaarthic is BEST.

he is an above average player.but we cant even compare him with dhoni.dhoni can change match situation completely.he can take it into his hands.he can frustate bowlers very much.bowlers will be helpless when he is batting well.it is obvious karthick cant do all these things.he did opening well.but he is very slow.he is not eligible for onedays.also at one stage mahi is world no 1 batsman in icc rankings.i think this thing is surely impossible for dhoni.dont u agree with this?

Not exactly. He is very young and has started his carreer just recently. To judge a player going by oe or two good performance will not be a fair assessment.

not for sure karthick can play few good innings but can't be a help in critical situs. mahi plays every now and then, his brief but crucial innings have always done good to the team.
