I'm American and have been living in West Midlands and now Shropshire for almost 2 years..........with frequent visits home.
I need a job badly......not only for the income but because I'm losing my grip here from boredom and just too much time on my hands. I've always worked service type jobs mostly in the hotel/resturant industry......with a few other trades up my sleeve....that really kinda don't account for much of anything. But the things I do know, don't really apply here. I'm fast counting money.......but not your money. I'm a good manager of people but......I guess this is where my question lies. If I was your manager , what would you think of my American way of speaking.....would it be a problem or.......well, any thoughts on it would be great?

Well, "finalfrontier"......there is a difference in counting and speed of counting.
The US dollar is easy too....can you a non-american, if you had american currency, put your hand in your pocket, count all the quarters, nickles, dimes and pennies in your pocket without looking?
I didn't think so!
Hypothetically as a customer of mine,
Would you really want me to count back your change to you?
Of course, I do have to remember your cashiers are much slower than ours, so I'd probably could take the time to recognise each coin....LOL
