Not too expensive in NYC? Good luck with that. The corner pizzeria will sell you a slice for around $2 per.

For an excellent meal at $125/plate or so - Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

Less elegant and a little cheaper than that....I believe the Carnegie deli is near Broadway & Times Square.

At the end of the day, or in this case, show, it's really hard to find a bad meal in NYC.

OK, I got 2 for ya!

The is an amazing diner on 47th between Broadway & 6th. Across the street and alittle down from The Palace Theatre (Legally Blonde is coming). It has great food, looks cute and great service. 2 people can get out of there for $15.

Also, there is Chevy's on 42nd and 8th. It is mexican with the best chips and salsa ever. Good prices, HUGE portions and great

Both place are great and will let you save enough money to see another show!!

Enjoy!

Try some of the diners (there's one near 42nd and Broadway). They have great food, good sized portions, and won't cost you an arm and a leg.
