Tonight after I cooked dinner, I pulled a bag of rolls out of the fridge, and like an idiot I set it on the stovetop where it melted on the stovetop. I'm just getting used to this flat top stove, and, I wasn't thinking when I set it down. How do I get it off???

I would try turning the burner on HIGH for a few minutes, until the plastic re-melted, and then with several dry paper towels wadded up, wipe the melted stuff up. Don't panic, do it over and over until you have it all clean. Be careful and don't burn yourself...

turn the heat back on to about #4 (i know it sounds crazy) and use a razor knife if you have it otherwise a plastic spatula can be used to gently scrape away excess. I melt something on mine at least once a month and this always seems towork for me. Good luck
