Done this as a child! Our Guide leader had to tech us how to track animals but as none of our mothers would let us go anywhere in the woods with her (she was a bit odd) she taught us how to follow people and we got our badges for 'Stalking'. Honest! The target I was given was our local curate. A lovely man with nothing shameful to hide. But I had to follow him all day and report back to her what he had been up too. As I said she was a little odd!
