What would you Use for Acne?

i know everyone goes through pimples and all that stuff. But seriously i am getting it bad what would you say is the best treatment?
I have tryed a few things.

toothpaste--for a quick fix--but it has to be paste and not gel

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer ten times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

2) what have you tried?
3) what's your current skincare regimen? (include moisturizers, toners, frequency of everything!)

by the way --
1) Proactiv does *not* work for everyone, in fact it doesn't have nearly the success rate they boast on the commercials. i used it, and not only did it stop working fairly soon, it permanently discolored my skin.
2) toothpaste is not good for pimples.

Proactive is a definate.

While it dosn't work for everyone..it works for almost all cases.

Or if things get worse try seeing your dermatologist.

Toothpaste on zits is a quick fix too.

try the acnefree version of proactiv sold at drugstores. its cheaper and works just as good
