How do you help somone that wantes 2 run away from a boarding school?

okay this kid his mom is trying to break him down and make him change bc she doesnt like him or anything about him...what should i do 2 try n confort him?

Well the best thing to do,is assume his mum knows more than you about her son.If you must do something for this boy,be there for him.Encourage and listen.

Send him a copy of J. D. Slinger's _Catcher in the Rye_. It's a classic about a young boy from New York who bolts from the school he was sent to by his family who thought he needed discipline. I never went to boarding school, but if I had it would have cheered me up mightily.
