Steve nash has made the mvp award lose so much credibility it's as low as it has ever been

does a real MVP give up triple doubles to a third stringer?

does a real MVP's old team get better after he leaves?

the suns live and die by whatever Marion can produce, that's who gets focused on in the playoffs not nash because he isn't important

numerous players should have been given the award over steve trash

it's team to bring credibility back to the MVP

I don't think so, I think Kobe still deserves it.
No, actually I think it's too early to say.

The Suns doing great, on a run.
He's playing nice basketball, but I think the only problem is that he's got great team mates, Marion, Amare, Bell...
If he's teammates can't cut, score etc., then the passing is basically useless.
But Kobe, or Lebron, they are different, they pass once in a while, they carry the team completely.
Kobe deserves it because Lakers is a young team and their key players are all out: Kwame, Lamar, Mihm etc.

I think Nash deserves it, maybe just not as much as Kobe, or maybe Arenas, now.

I agree that nash shouldn't be the MVP last year because you look both kobe and lebron they work hard to lead their teams to the NBA Playoffs

Yes, Nash is a great team player but Kobe is THE team. Without Kobe the Lakers are nothing. With Kobe, they are contenders this year. Kobe deserved MVP last year not because of his 81 game, but because he is more important to his team

Disagree--Nash didn't deserve it as much as LeBron, but he did more than Kobe. Kobe didn't show MVP material until the playoff's. Yea, 81 pts i know, but Nash is a great team player.

Would the award get more credibility if it was given to an accussed rapist and adulturer? This Steve "trash" you speak of is one of the classiest guys in the league. Plus without Nash last year, Marion would be doubled up everytime he was in the game. It's not like Marion can create his own shot either.

He also took his team as far or farther into the playoffs than Kobe and LeBron.

Totally disagree... Look at the team he has and where he's at. If he was just average, he wouldn't putting these numbers up with Marion and Stoudemire on the team.

Thing with Kobe and LeBron is that they don't have the team to support them, so they look like heroes... Put them with some great guys and I'm sure it's another story...

I totally agree, last I checked Kobe scored oh about eighty points !!!!! in one game. And Lebron is in my opinion the future of the NBA.
