What are some good games for the PS2?

Tell me some games that are fun to play, not so easy to beat, and please no sports games. remember this is for PS2

seems like i need to say, just tell me what games you love to play.

Some really good games of all time for ps2 are (they are in oder):

1. Final Fantasy 12- Very long game that isnt easy to beat but beatable. I have the game and it took me 120 hour's to beat the game but there is so many side missions that i havent done but am trying to do but it has taken me over 180 hour's and i still havent beat the game 100%. The game is fun and the story line is the best! It doesnt have great game play but the story makes up for the game play. You will need a guide to beat this game, you can find a really good guide at www.gamefaqs.com.

2. Burnout Takedown- I know you said no sport games but its a racing game that's the second best game on ps2. The game is extremly fun and even more fun with friends. The games graphics are awsome and the game play is fast and well desighned. There no other racing game that can compare. I also have this game and i cant get stop playing it. It is a shorter game but the game play makes up for it.
Final Comment: Action packed game that takes you into the game

3. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas- I'm not a big fan but enjoyed the game, i dont have the game but i played it at a friends and it was GREAT! You probably have heard of the game as most people have. The game play is great but what's better is the location and how the game was desighned!

4. God Of WAr- Dont know much about the game but ive heard its a really fun game, thats full of amazing effects!

5. Need for Speed Carbon- I had to add this game in because of the number of people who buy this game.
Final Comment: It is a racing game but sometimes you just have to cross the line.

6. Ratchet and Clank- childish but amusing. The game is a series of games and every game is better then each other as they are all unique. I have played all thier games and enjoyed all thier games but some were better then others.
Final Comment:I can't say youll like the game for sure but its a good game!

First of all this depends on what kind of genre of games you like. But I'll try to give out a few good ideas.

Final Fantasy X, X-2, and XII. These games will put you in the 60 + hours of RPG gaming. The graphics and gameplay are great. As for other RPGs for the PS2, I enjoyed Suikoden III as well. Digital Devil Saga, Disgaea, and ShadowHearts are also suppose to be great PS2 RPGs.

God of War is a great game. Lots of gore, and the gameplay is really fun.

If you want to move away from the fighting type games, and ones that you can pick up over and over again I recommend Guitar Hero and DDR. (you can play DDR on the controller, you don't always have to dance)

Try guitar hero 1 and 2. like dance dance revolution but with a guitar. in UK it costs about £50 for the game and a guitar that plugs into a controller slot.

these seem to have veryyy good storylines, different challenge levels, and very likable characters
