I have this history homework where I have to label places involved in WWII. I got most of them, but I don't have the exact locations of some of the places. I don't have: Battle of the Bulge, Rhineland, Tunis, Maginot Line & Vladivostok. If anyone could give me a map, coordinates or something it would help a lot. ^^

I don't know if this website will help, but here is the U.S. Military Academy's site. I have directed you to the W.W. 2 page. I hope it helps.

The Battle of the Bulge took place in the Ardennes, a forested hilly region between Belgium & France. The key fighting occurred around the town of Bastogne, the key to the roads in the Ardennes.

Vladivostok is in eastern Russia, just above the border where Russia, China & North Korea meet.

Rhineland is the region around the Rhine river

Tunis is in north Africa, between Algeria & Morocco

The Maginot line is a string of defensive positions on the Franco-German border.

I don't a map with me, hope the above explanation will make your search easier.

The Library of Congress has many maps releated to this.
Some need special software to view in detail.

http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/collections/maps/wwii/

show the general situation maps for Europe.

This is an area of interest to me as well.
You should also try Google Earth.

The battle of the Bulge was in late 1944 in Belgium. Bastogne, Belgium would be a good place to mark for it.

The Rheinland was in Germany, along the Rhein River. This was crossed in march 1945 at a place called Remagen.

Tunis is in Tunesia in North Africa.

The Maginot Line was a defensive line that was supposed to protect France. The Germans went around it through the low countries. You could mark Metz in France for it.

Vladivostok is very far to the East in Russia. In fact, the name means "Ruler of the East in Russian.

Good Luck with your work. Let me know how it comes out.

You can do a search using using the names you mentioned.

Google even has a image search function typing in battle of the bulge map returns several images.

Also your local library will have many books on WWII that will include maps of various battlegrounds and theatres of operation.

Now go do your homework.

Don;t have enough sense to look it up, but you have enough to ask someone to do it for you. I shudder for our future. I foresee a deepfat fryer in your employment future.
