making a holiday celebrating jesus'es birthday, into a negative scary movie. i dont think thats right. it looks good and all but they should change the theyme and the title.

i think its COMPLETELY disrespectful!!! christmas is a sacred time and that movie is WAY out of line. its horrible! im def. not going to see it.

I am a Christain and I haven't seen the movie yet but I don't see it as disrespectful becuse it is just a movie and it is not like someone killed people for real. I think they should have changed the date because of the complants from other people but it didn't bother me because it is a fact Jesus was not even born in winter he was born somewhere in the spring so December 25 was not the day Jesus was actually born.

Pt 1. its just a movie. they were trying to make something out of the ordinary.plus not everyone celebrates christmas.
Pt.2 if someone made a movie about black haunukka or black kwanaa , it would be considered completly disrespectul and there would be an uproar.

I haven't seen it yet (don't know if I will) but...
1. As opposed to a positive scary movie?
2. I have read things that Dec. 25 is not Jesus' b-day (don't ask me where I heard it, I don't remember)
3. Not everybody celebrates Christmas
4. If you don't like it, don't see it

I just look into things that much. I respect peoples opinions and religions I just seen a movie as entertainment. I understand how people can be offended though......but that's what sells.

Bad things even happen on holidays......did you ever see the 'Ref"...about a crime gone wrong at Xmas
Most of Xmas is commercial and not about Jesus, compare the money spent on gifts, parties and decorations to church donations.
"Miracle on 34th"..a classic movie not about Jesus but about Xmas
"Home Alone"...set at Xmas time..
Xmas is suppose to celebrate Jesus birth.....truth is he was born in April......church choose December as the date to celebrate to replace a popular pagan festival...............with a christian one
