Who is Shuyin and what is the deal with the big machine he is playing and why does Lenne come in with her arms spread. (I dont have a playstation but i have seen the music videos and i am curious please let me know the story behind these kool characters)

YES! My kind of video game. First off Shuyina and Lenne are not in FFX only in FFX2. Shuyin created Vegnagun because fo his hatred towards the world they live in (Bevelle?) A war , he uses this machien to stop them. Lenne throws her arms out because she is yeling at him to 'stop!you must stop! That's enough' The bevelle guards are killing them in defence for bevelle. Shuyin is a mad man. At least after losing Lenne. (Shuyin lost her after they both died, this game you have a living lafterlife). Yes the story line is a little confusing. Another thing is Shuyin and Lenne are exactly in the position Tidus and Yuna are in. Tidus and Yuna go on this pilgrimage together along with 7 other people in FFX. But Tidus is not from where Yuna is, Tidus is from a fictional world called Zanarkand. Tidus and Yuna end up staring a good relationship together. The point of this pilgrimage is to destroy Yu Yevon. Come to find out Yu Yevon, no matter how disasterous he is, was the thing keeping Tidus from completely dissapearing back into his fictional world. After 2 years pass Yuna is filled with grief form losing Tidus. FFX2 explains how yuna watches this sphere of this dude that look just like tidus, but yun awas sure that tidus was dead right? But she gets together with rikku, and a new character, paine, and figure out this mystery (Tidus and Shuyin look exactly alike). Yuna meets up with the old characters from FFX along the way through her FFX2 journey. Eventually, if you beat FFX2,you find that the spirits (shoot i forgot what they are called) give yuna a gift, bringing Tidus back from the fictional world to visit her for one last day. If you beat the game with 100% (WHICH IS HARD!!!) You come to find that Tidus is there to stay forever! Happily ever after. Oh, and Shuyin and Lenne are finally reuinited to spend their afterlife together forever. Yuna makes this happen.

Shuyin is trying 2 protect Lenne from the war in Zanarkand vs. Bevelle, so he uses a machine to stop them.
