No they won't get lost inside you. However, every once and a while, someone might "lose the string". In deeper terms, the farthest a tampon can go is to the beginning of your cervix. After that, it is far too small to go any farther. But, sometimes, when inserting them or while moving around while wearing them, the string will "disappear". Usually it has just gotten worked back into the opening of your vagina and can be easily found. I have never heard of anyone having to go to the hospital to get it removed but if you did it would just be like getting a pap smear so the doc could locate the string. I'm 26 and I was scared to wear them at first but I began wearing them when I was 19 and I am so glad I did. It isn't as messy during that time of month and after a few tries, you will be comfortable with them too. Don't hesitate to ask your doctor if you have any questions. You may feel this is a stupid questions but MANY girls wonder the same thing.

It can't get lost, but sometimes it can slip up behind your cervix and make it hard to reach. If this happens you'll just need to go to the ER.
Remember not to leave tampons in too long,(not exactly sure what TOO long is ) because you can get toxic shock syndrom.

It can't get lost but the string can go too far in, just simply dig it out with your fingers. Your cervix won't let it go up any further. If you have trouble, then see a doctor, because it could cause infection. The chances of this happening are slim though. It's never happened to me.

I had a friend who "forgot" about her inserted tampon. She started to have an odor and was horrified when her Dr used a speculum and discovered a tampon that had been un-retreived and filled with a foul smell of semen and other bodily secretions. So yes, tampoms can get stuck or lost......

Hm, I've seen people go through the ER because their tampon was up too high and they couldn't get it out.
But it doesn't get lost. Just make sure you change it every couple hours depending on how heavy your period is.
Just make sure you don't put it up too far, just enough to wear you got a couple inches of the string hanging.

I don't think that it will get lost, but you might have a hard time retrieving it if the string is not located . If this has happened and you can't get it out ,go to a doctor and have it removed right away, that could be dangerous.

No your cervix will stop it from going any place and you can easily insert your fingers and retrive it if the string accidently gets tucked inside with the tampon. You vagina does not go forever and you can retrieve things that are inside it easily.

If you forget its in, and put another in, or have sex with it in. It doesn't get lost but it could be hard to reach and you would have to see a doctor to pull it out. I don't think tampons are very healthy and only use them when I feel I need to.

no honey, it can not get lost inside you. Your cervix prevents that from happening and stops it.
You can, however have trouble removing it, all you have to do is either use your fingers to do it, or you can go to your doctor and have them do it.
However, I have not heard of that happeneing very often, so i wouldnt worry.

no cuz the string is still outside ur body, and the walls of ur vagina holds ur tampon in place so that it wont move until u pull it out.
best of luck
