Selamat datang..dat's the word for welcome...You're certainly made the right choice! In Malaysia your first stop should be in KLIA- one of the finest airport in the world. Well, from here if you love shopping why not stay in Kuala Lumpur for a couple of days. There are plenty of hotels ranging from 3 to 5 star depending on your budget of course!
This is the place where you will find multi cultural people living in harmony. You will experience many many types of foods here and it's quite cheap...
For the beach lovers, you can visit Penang at northwest side of Malaysia and if you are island hoppers head to east coast of Malaysia where you will experience beautiful corals and fishes living under the sea. Overall it's a safe and fantastic country to travel as this year been the Visit Malaysia Year there are many activities been organised for foreigners to experience...

Kuala Lumpur is the best place to go. This year they have this promo called Visit Malaysia 2007 and they have a lineup of exciting shows and activities for tourists.

If you're still looking for accommodations in KL, you can check out any of these hotels:

Forget about shopping complexes etc as they are everywhere. Instead visit the islands and the Forests which some of them are 500yrs old and has been well preserved by the Malaysian Government.
