That game was made in 2003 eventhogh it says 2004.. there is a 2007 out allready so you have roughly 3 years of transactions to follow along with creating a couple standout rookies IE LeBron James, Wade, Carmello, Bosh, and i think Yao.. it can be done but you probably get the 2006 version for PS2 for about 15$ at your local game exchange place and save you not only time, but vision in trying to squint through those old graphics.. plus 06 has a cool features and also incorparates a Slam Dunk contest into the allstar festivities not to mention U can also play a throwback version of NBA Live 95!! gotta love it

It depends on what you have, if it's the psp or something you can change it on your game, I have 2005, i don't think it's that different, it's easy, change it in your game and trade players in roster mangement.

I have NBA2004 too, I just edit the rostors myself. It takes a while at first, but afterwards there are not many transactions to worry about.
