This depends on what it is you want in a resort. Resorts are different in many ways. Some cater to children, some are adults only, while others are very much adult oriented. Some are 5 or 6 star while others are 2 or 3 star resorts. Some cater to a party crowd and others for relaxation. Some are romantic resorts. Choosing the right resort for you is the most important decision you will make for your trip. I suggest you think about what you want in a resort and go from there. Then go to TripAdvisor.com to research. You can gain a ton of information there and will make a better informed decision.

Are you traveling with your wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend? As the previous person answered, Sandals is great for hetero couples. Beaches is great if you are a family traveling with children. Both Sandals and Beaches are all-inclusive so they include all meals, drinks, non-motorized water sports and entertainment. And by far - Half Moon Bay is the most luxurious.

DO NOT GO TO SANDALS MONTEGO BAY!!! They are renovating and only have 2 restaurants open. The pools are small (and there's only 2). The rooms are okay. My hubby and I went in November. We had a honeymoon suite that was tiny and there were ants in the bathroom. Don't waste your money there! Sandals Negril is supposed to be great....

I would try Couples Swept Away if you are going as a couple, which is in Negril. Also, go to tripadvisor.com You can find tons of reviews and pictures of different hotels!

We loved Sandals. But they permit heterosexual couples only. No kids, no singles, no homosexual couples, etc.
