I already found a calculator at Sharebuilder.com but that calculator only looks back 10 Years and I need to look back further. How do I calculate their current value.

Look up the company click on the quote, on the chart click on max...It'll give you stock splits...I looked at Altria and it goes all the way back to 1974

If you cant find ticker symbols for the companies, check with the Secretary of State in the state the companies were incorporated in, if you know that. The companies may have merged or been bought out by another company. You could also check with a stock broker or at the library. If the stock is totally worthless the certificates may have value as a collectable. There are various sites for collectable stock certificates.

Are these stock still traded?? If not can you contact the company that issued them?

a reliable stockbroker should be able to get that information for you or as another suggested do a web search
