I know my origins are from Scotland however I dont know any old relative's name...any help? My word I guess doesnt count eh?

Yes. A Scottish clan is connected by blood relatives. For example, I belong to Frazier and Troop, via bloodline.


I just read your additional notes, to find out your clan name you'd have to go back to your family records. I know you said that you don't know their names but if it helps, our troop names aren't our last name either.

My grandparents traced our lineage back and found everything, so you might want to try with your parents and work your way up as far as you possibly can. Good luck!

You don't join a clan any more than you can join a family. You have to be born into it. If you have the correct ancestry, you are already a member of the clan. If you don't there's little you can do about it.
