waiters make what they put into the job, and the level of the job dictates how much the waiter can potentially make. from the local coffee shop to the waiter in vegas, the range is huge. the higher the price of the food, the higher the tip usually is. as well, the bigger the persistence, personality and professionalism the better the profit. do what you do well, and the rewards will be huge. I think they make good money. it really all depends on the location and/or experience as to your hourly wage. You can probably bring home better tips in an expensive place. Think of location and clients and you can make good money in this field. If you are applying for a job, make sure you tell them you are a fast learner. Employers will like to hear that.

I am guessing waiters, and that only a good job if you are student and need some extra cash. I did that and made around $1500 a month.

It depends on where you are waiting tables. Most servers make between 2.13 and 3.13 an hour. And the tips depend on the clientele and the prices on the menu...

Waiters? Waiters make less than minimum wage and the tips depend on the place you are working and how well you do your job.

depends on the restaurant and depends if people find you likeable as a waitor. but they prolly do okay if they get lots of tips (waitors don't make much usually....it is all in the tips).
just as a side-note---bartenders usually get more money because they get more tips.

minimum restaurant wage plus about 15% of the amount of the bill. I believe their hourly wage is under $3.00 per hour.

2.13 an hour is the least they can be paid but for someone who cant spell waiter thta is pretty reasonable
