For keeping your lips moist so they don't peel, try Blistex. I use that myself 'cause I have the same problem with my lips peeling and getting chapped, especially in the cold weather. Wet-n-Wild has some nice color glosses that are cheap, but work. Revlon has a color lipstick/gloss in a twist tube (forget the name) and it has a sponge on the top with tiny holes so when you twist the gloss upwards, it comes out a little bit at a time so it doesn't overflow with too much coming out at once. They have a nice variety of colors as does Wet n Wild. Hope this helps.

Read about Cortibalm. I've had chronically dry peeling lips and this stuff is a miracle. After i recieved and used my samples, i bought them off ebay. it is a bit pricier than Chapstick but then again, this is no ordinary lipbalm. I found it after googling 'chronically peeling lips' because i was tired of using Chapstick and other brands that only gave me a headache from the smell and the feeling like i'm eating the stuff and them doing nothing to heal my lips.
This stuff lasts on your lips quite a while after you put it on but it never feels "greasy" although you can feel it on your lips. I had to throw away the Carmex after one use because it tasted and smelled so terrible and it seeped into my mouth making me cringe. The Cortibalm by Dr. Dan is virtually odorless, tasteless, so much better than Chapstick or anything else out there. I honestly cannot say enough about it.
It's also highly recommended for acne medication users such as Accutane who develop dry, peeling lips from the medication.
Send for a free sample and experience it for yourself. It's hard to believe i'm praising something as trivial as lip balm but when you've tried everything you know to heal your lips, you're so grateful to not have to peel off the flakes on your lips and them looking awful and painful.
As great as it is though, it is not a 'use it once and no more dry peeling lips, ever'. Just like a lotion you might use for your face or body, you have to use it regularly to maintain healthy lips, maybe more or less depending on the season or depending on the severity from medications or chemotherapy which can also cause dry lips.
You will be so glad to have found this. I've been raving about it to my whole family and even suggested to my sister to sell the lip balm on her overseas website store.
Try it !

A Vaseline-based lip gloss provides you with relatively some moisture. It lacks the guy made coloring of maximum comfortable lip balms, and for people who're comfortable to smells and tastes, the particularly tasteless factor is a large plus. whilst i replaced into in an accident, my lips continuously felt chapped, and the Vaseline stuff saved them lots relieved. i could not tell because of the fact I had nerve injury. For palms, Eucerin and Udder Butter artwork nicely. At evening, you may positioned on the two or Vaseline and positioned on some skinny cotton gloves and which will help set up the moisture back on your pores and skin as a substitute of purely moisturizing the exterior. on the basis of the subject, drink greater water. the 1st actual symptom of dehydration is dry lips. enhance your water intake, and the worst which could happen is which you will could pee a splash greater in lots of cases.

Try wearing a chapstick underneath your gloss so that your lips can heal. I like Bath and Body works CO Bigaloe No shine formula chapstick. A good gloss is Lola's lip indulgence.

You're going to want to use a medicated lip-balm first to repair the damage you've done on your lips. Anything done above your lips, you should try (LIGHTLY just in case you lick...) covering in Neosporin to prevent scarring.
Once that's all healed up, Burts Beeswax has a nice line of tinted lip balms that also make your breath smell nice and minty.

Try H2O's lip mender first...wear it for a week and your lips should be okay. Then you can continue wearing gloss or lipstick!
