I think that he may have a good start if they let him start and run more through him as a center forward rather than a winger. I think he overrated, but he has yet to be tested or allowed to develop. As a younger kid he was awesome but now he almost blends in and does not stand out. He needs to have more freedom on the pitch so he can have his breakout season.

As for going to the EPL, I think he will be a small fish in a large pond if he were to go to Man U or Chelsea. If he were to go to Man U they are going to use him to make $$ by placing him on loan to some other team. He needs to go to another team like Fulham or Reading where other US players are and can help him develop more and maybe see some playing time. Overall I think he does not have the size for EPL and being the "phenom" he would be a target anytime he steps on the pitch.

Whoa, I didn't even know he was transferred to salt lake. If only the MLS was as popular as the NFL or the NBA, then I would know about this stuff when it happened. Um...I don't have many opportunities to watch the MLS, as it is never on TV, but I hope that Adu can establish himself on the team and hopefully he will fit in nice and comfortably and become a key player.
