Yah, i switched to the pill too. I could have pretty much wrote this question. It has reduced my acne a little bit, but not too much. when i looked it up online alot of people only saw a mild change. It depends which pill your on too. Make sure they say its FDA aproved to treat acne. im on Ortho Tri Cyclen (not lo). Good luck.

The pill helps a lot of women with acne. From my experience, Ortho tri cycline works the best, because the hormone levels are different for each cycle day

not all birthcontrol pills are for that, there is one i see in the commercials that advertise for acne, you need to let your doctor know that you want that pill- sorry i dont remember the name, but maybe your doctor will know- they should. Just let them know you saw a commercial for a birthcontrol pill that will help your acne and thats the one you want to take. Good Luck. They are not all for acne so you need to research and find the one that is.

It depends wat birth control. I take the YAZ and i also have acne. The dermatologist told me it will start to clear up in 6 months.
I am not sure if there is a faster pill out there, but i also know Tetrocyline is also a good pill to take if you have acne. You should ask your dermatologist about YAZ.

That is supposed to be one of the benfits, yes. You have to give it time to work in your system.

It takes time for it to really work well, for birth control issues and acne! You have only taken a pack and half. Give it some time! :)

Hope that helps!

It all depends, really. It can help, and it could not. My birth control helped clear up my skin. But like I said, it all depends on your skin I guess.
