Genesis: the two Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins have had huge solo careers. Roxy music: the two Brian Eno and Brian Ferry have released solo albums that have been very helpful and nicely-gained. Buffalo Springfield: for sure Neil youthful, yet in addition Stephen Stills: nonetheless in particular linked with the Crosby Stills Nash youthful variations, he had a large solo hit with "Love the single you're With". (edit) The Runaways (reported upthread) are a stable one; Lita Ford replaced into in that band to boot to Joan Jett.

Sounds more like a frat band. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't connect to what you play, IMHO. Can't think of anything to suggest though.
