Forever Young by Rod Stewart. It was out when my kids were very young and it just expresses how I feel about them so well.

"Take Me As I Am" by Mary J Blige
It brings tears to my eyes because I can relate to trying to conform with what other people think I should be like, going through hard times, and not being with anyone who loves you for who you are and at the end you just get so fed up and all you can say is "just take me as I am or have nothing at all"

Time to say goodbye
Some one close to me was dying of throat cancer.
He could not talk and say what was on his mind.
That song played on the radio when I was there
to say good bye to him. I can't describe the deep
emotions that this song brought to the surface.
We hugged each other until the song was over
and no other good byes were necessary.
Sad, yes but I always remember him with a happy heart.

Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton because it's about how Eric dealt with every parent's worst nightmare: losing a child. It also makes me think about loved ones I've lost.
