People the the Ethical Treatment of Animals, they are a radical group with a good idea, but bad methods of accomplishing it, like throwing red paint on folks who wear fur (that is called assault, a misdemeanor, in Texas). I love animals, but people have dominion.

PETA is People for the Ethical Treatement of Animals. They are controversial because they are so obsessed with their cause. In their eyes every animal is at least as important as humans, and some believe that animals are more important.
While I believe that animals should be treated fairly, and that they do need someone to protect them, I believe PETA takes it a little too seriously.
You might have seen them shown on movies or T.V. shows as the people who throw blood or red paint on furs and boycott meat plants. They do things like that a lot, or so I've been told. I don't exactly agree with wearing fur either, but throwing red paint on them just means people will kill more animals to replace the furs they destroyed.
Anyway, I'm not a member of PETA, and haven't done a whole mess of research on them, so please keep in mind this is just things I've heard, and my opinion.
Have a nice day.

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, I am a member there are alot of people that will say bad and there a lot of people that will say good about it, I tend to lean toward the good I t is my heartfelt and soul deep belief that all beings have souls even the smallest tick, i believe that animals should be treated with dignity, that they are not here for our entertainment for use in circuses where they are NOT treated humanely or with dignity, that zoos are not a natural place for animals they need more room (like refuges) that animals should be killed for our food, if we choose to eat meat, humanely and should not be skinned and raised to clothe us as we have other means of clothing. I believe that the issue of the PETA killing of animals was done by a few misguided and greedy people that can infiltrate anything and does not and shoud not reflect on the complete membership NOR the philosophy of PETA

people that are really into a cause can be over welming when you meet them. They will want things to change that most people do not want changed or feel that there is not a need for a change.
So peta is always working for animals, who can not explain pain. So people feel animals have no pain or feelings
very controversial if two people like that get together and state to talk

i'm fascinated in ethical treatment of animals, even nonetheless PETA is going too far. In attempting to help animals they actually do them greater harm, and worse yet they're selective in the animals they help. case in point, if its not gorgeous and cuddly (minus its skill to kill you) they wont try to help it. PETA protesters will now and back try to protest hunters via creating relatively some noise and such so the hunters can not hunt. there replaced right into a case a whilst back the place some hunters locked the PETA protesters up in a horse trailer whilst they have been looking because of the fact the PETA human beings does not stop. as quickly as they comprehensive looking later that day they permit them to out. In court docket the hunters pronounced the PETA human beings have been threatening to harm them with their wooden indications. because of the fact of a PETA supporter, there replaced right into a large information and controversy over what replaced into meant to be a common, daily occurrence for animal seize. as a substitute of killing a mountain lion who could not be reintroduced into the wild because of the fact it had tried to attack multipule human beings and confirmed no indications of being afraid of human beings, it replaced into captured and put in a facility. The PETA supporter made a substantial fuss and we can now thank them for greater taxes in my state. conserving the lion in a facility waiting to safeguard it truly is amazingly high priced. The incident additionally made the employer looking after the situation could fill out greater paperwork each and every time somebody calls them approximately something that the caller thinks could remotly be a lion--ninety 9% of that are merely bobcats or widespread cats. I additionally do in comparison to being noted as a murderer because of the fact I ate fowl strips on my salad. -.- except you desire to reason a stir, i might sidestep putting forward PETA on your speech.

People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Members who join are encouraged to live cruelty free. For instance, they like vegetarians and for people not to wear fur. SOME believe in it so much, that they go to extremes. They don't think that animals should be confined to experiments and worn. They say "Boycott the Circus" as elephants are treated like slaves therefore they state "Abolish Slavery! Boycott the Circus" and such.
Hope this helps.

They claim to protect animals and go to great measures to do so. They collect a lot of money from people for their work. However they were caught killing a lot of the animals they supposedly were paid to find homes for so to me they are just a fraud.
