I tried it when I first began menstruating and boy did it hurt. I had to get my mom to help me get it out. She said young girls that are virgins shouldn't use them. It will hurt because you will not have the lubrication that your period will provide and because you are a virgin, that makes it tighter down there. Now that I am an adult woman I really don't like using tampons. I prefer pads. I'm a heavy flower and they just seem to be more practically. Plus you don't want to start stretching your vaginal canal now by using tampons. So I would suggest using pads. But I do know how you can become curious about such things when you are young and your friends use them.

Don't do that! That's NOT a healthy thing to do, and it might affect your insides or whatever in a bad way. And when you first get your period don't start right out with tampons, use pads for a while first.

Why would you want to do that? A few months ago, my friend sticked a tampon "up there" before her period, and she was crying.

Don't, because then it will hurt to put in and to get out. Try it when youre on your actual period.

You can but you will have a VERY hard time getting it out. It will absorb every bit of moisture and then stick to the walls of your vigina. The only way you'll be able to get it out is to find a way to get it wet and that's no fun either.
