Honda Civic, the money you save with your uncle's discount you will need for repairs later. I have had 3 civics to date and put over 200K on each of them without a repair bill. Meanwhile watched my friends dump tons of money into their mustangs. And mine with almost 200K is still worth more than theirs with less than half the miles...

honda civics last forever, my sister bought one in 1980, and a lady in our town is still driving it. You see old hondas out on the road all the time. I love Fords, always have owned one, and the old Mustangs are great, but for a new car, I'd go with the civic.

If you want a fast car, get a Mustang GT, they are very reasonably priced for the amount of horsepower you get. If you are looking for more of a reliable, economical car, pick the Civic.

Civic. There are 25 year old Hondas running around rusted out and running strong all over... Mustangs... well, see how many you can see from the 80's and how they're running.. if you can see them through all the smoke.

I would choose the mustang because they are a cooler car and if you are going to get a discount go for it. Plus i am in love with ford mustangs!

GO WITH THE STANG OF COURSE! well I'm kinda biased though. )
and a note for 12hrdaze's comment , Bring that 80s 90s civic over and let me kick its ars, with my old 89, bad running 5.0 ( I could be lying about how mine runs though ) and mine definitely looks better than any 80s - 90s civic. And the only smoke you'll see is from the tires.

Go for the Mustang it will hold value better I just purchased a 1996 Mustng Coupe in mint condition with 99,000 miles on it. All for $1,500.00
The Man has to pay fines in court.
I got a steal deal and the best part of it is that it looks brand new interior and exterior.
I ahve already been offered $4,000.00 for it.
Its not for sale.

Buy the Civic. If you live in snow country you really need the civic.
