.torrent is an extension for a file sharing util. There are many out there. Since they are often used for illegal software I will be general. BitLord is a common download app. Isohunt is a common .torrent site.

people upload movies and share wit others .... u need bit torrent or a similar program to dectect those torrents and establish a connection so u can download the film.
