I'm 37 and I've lived a real mad life by any standards but over the last 12 months I have slowed down, stopped drinking and became responsible..Has this happened to anyone else cos I want to know if it lasts?

I would say good for you ......You are growing up finally...Our character comes from the lives we make of it and lead.. We choose our own path to go down and if you finally after 37 years are slowing down I would say it's a good thing and it's about time you take on responsibility for your own life. I would only hope it will last for you......Your choice.

its up to you. if you want to start drinking again then do so. chances are you've just grown out of it.
i'm starting to see how pathetic and slightly scary drunk people are, although I went through a stage for about 2 years of drinking most nights. personally I hope I never go back to that, I'd rather make something of myself now.
