No, I don't think most 13 year olds are mature enough to handle the responability the driving has. I think kids should have to be 18, to drive by themselves.

Sorry to say I dont think 16 year olds should drive, let alone a 13 yr old, I know adults who shouldnt be allowed to drive. Driving is dangerous and a huge responsibility and a 13 yr cant remember to brush their teeth half the time let alone drive a car. Plus who is going to pay for the car, the gas, and the insurance, you cant work at 13. Be a kid its more fun

God no! Some 16 year old kids can't drive. And some states have raised the age to 18. I think that all 50 states should do that!

No not really. I am now fourteen and when i was thirteen i asked my parents the same thing and the answer was no. My parents said that the reason is no because if people can start driving at the age of the 13 think about all the traffic, polution, accidents, and problems that would happen

13 year olds are barely old enough to STAY HOME alone, you really think they should be out and about at that age. Maybe 13 year olds should get jobs to pay the car payment, insurance, and gas to drive. And while they are at it, how about the electric bill...

My professional opinion would be NO. Way to young to handle the experience of driving. It's bad enough with 15, and 16 yr olds driving.
