-k- Does anybody else find the anticipation before the act more exciting and pleasurable than s.e.x. itself?

For some reason, I would much rather feel the excitement and rush I get when I lock eyes with a hot guy at a bar and we both know what we want.

I'm talking about that sinking yet exhilarating feeling you get in the pit of your stomach as opposed to the sex itself, which is often a letdown. Do you guys know what I'm talking about?

You are so right!! Most of the time thinking what it would be like is soooo much better than what it's actually like!! Most of the time the actual act is so dissapointing and u wish you could go back to that feeling of anticipation.

Anticipation is always a powerful part of sex. It's the wanting. I know exactly what you're talking about.

Its exactly the same thing when you (I assume you do) masturbate. Too many guys just come and go. A real man enjoys the journey; not just the destination.

So yes, anticipation is huge.

Most of the time, the anticipation is so much better. Not that I don't enjoy the physical release of finally doing the act, but gosh there is something to be said about that anticipation.

Yes, we understand what you're talking about. Its your 'let-down' phobia that has tuned you to enjoy the 'eye-contact' business and not the sex itself. The great moments come only with actual sex, and not with just thinking of sex.

My next door neighbor comes while she's still dressed.

Her 19 year old daughter needs a lot of 'sawing' before she gets an orgasm.

Yes sometimes it's great to get off thinking about it than to clean it up with someone who may not be as fun as the thought.
And if they are the better.

I like hem both. The thrill of whether or not something will happen or not, than the thrill of the actual act

Maybe I'm a romantic but I enjoy the afterglow the most...lazing around talking and feeling all warm and stuff.....then doing it again...slower :-)

I think it would depend on how good the sex is?
