Did Joe Jonas (from the Jonas Brothers) break up with AJ (from aly and aj) then diss both Aly and AJ?

i really wanna know because a friend told me that and i dont belive her and now she doesnt like the Jonas brothers because of that and i think thats a stupid reason to not like them anymore

I don't know if it was confirmed who broke up with who. But the Jonas Brothers did an interview with BusRadio about the breakup and was later confirmed on Aly and AJ's Myspace that it was official.

I know that Aly and AJ have been very private about the details of the breakup, so it's anyone's guess what might have happened.
