I think the long hiatus kind of took the excitement out of it for me. In November, after the finale, I was all "yay Lost!" Even in December I didn't know how I would survive the wait. But now, I realized we still have to wait ANOTHER MONTH and I'm not as excited. I used to be the biggest fan, too.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I wouldn't say the excitement just before it airs and mid-hiatus excitement are comparable. I'm still in "early-hiatus" mode, to preserve my sanity, and fully expect to annoy those around me in the upcoming weeks.

Why must there be 31 days in December, and 31 days in January? That's the kind of thing that gets on my last nerve while waiting.

I think a lot of folks feel that way, but my guess is that in the week prior to the next episode, everyone will gear up and get psyched again.

I'm still annoyed that they've pushed the time back one hour. So now in the midwest, instead of starting at 8pm, it'll start at 9pm. They're worried about competition from American Idol which is moving to the 8pm slot, I guess.

I've also read that because the producers of LOST are having a hard time with the replacement shows, there's a very small chance they might bring LOST back earlier than planned, but it depends on whether they can move up the shooting schedules, I guess.

Next episode will be Juliet-centric and is titled "Not in Portland"
