I am 25 and I have been a huge fan of Star Trek TOS since I was 7. I watched a rerun with my grandma and fell deeply in love with kirk, lol. I absolutely love all the star trek series other than enterprise. It was SO totally different than what it should have been. I just couldn't stomache all the things they screwed up in that series. I am hoping beyond hope that the new movie they are bringing out next year will live up to the Trekkies expectations.

I like Star Trek & don't consider myself old. It's one of the best shows(& it's movies) to come out of this era. Gene Roddeberry was a genius when he came out with this show, as he put all different ethnic backgrounds in it, which broke down a lot of barriers in Hollywood, much to the chrigin of many powerfull people.[ Bless his Heart for being so insightfull on these matters.] He did go where no man had gone before.
Is there a age differencial for watching shows? If there is 1/2 the T.V. viewing would be opting out of watching T.V.
Star trek is one of the most watched re-run franchise in the world by all ages all over the world.
Lets hope you didn't insult the people who you consider to be old.[ P.S. Here's a little info for you on the world's population statistics: People reaching 65--age for pensions etc. & people reaching 80+ is the fastest growing population today, because of better life styles & better health care programs etc.]
Good-Bye from one you'd consider old:REBELCAT:****

Depends on which version of Star Trek you mean, and on how you define old.

Define "old". My husband's 36 and probably a star trek fanatic since birth. He's jealous of me because I got to see the show (TOS) first-run!

Hey, REBELCAT, thanks for the props! :-)
