To start out this problem you need to know your givens and what you want to find out.

1- 4.20 M HBr(1)
2- 1 L HBr solution(2)
3- 1.0 M HBr(2)
WANT- Mililiters HBr(1)

Now you have a series of ways to do this but the best simpl way would be to use this equation:

-----------------------M1x V1= M2 x v2--------------------------
where
M1=4.20
V1=unknown(x)
M2=1.0
V2= 1 L

You can plug theses in but first you want [mililiters] so you convert the 1.0 L to 1000mL.

4.20(x)= 1x1000 -> x = 1000/4.20 -> x = 238.095

Using significant figures you get {238} mililiters

You must you the equation M1*V1 = M2*V2. This question basically is all about ratios. So we know that M1 = 4.2, and V2 = 1.0 and M2 =1.0. so 4.2 * (V HBr) = 1 x 1, which is simplified to 1/4.2 mm of HBr. Hope this helps!

it somewhat is a non secular "start," meaning turning out to be a sparkling individual. it somewhat is our cultural language game for signifying that this individual has replaced, and the ritual that is going with it (water baptism) symbolizes a 2nd start. it somewhat is a public affirmation that this individual has been made form new. And snice we stay sinners even after this occurs, we are being born back each and all of the time, as we admit our errors and attempt to ultimate them and do better. we are continuously turning out to be new. the great element approximately this metaphor is that no count number how some distance you have long previous down the different course, no count number how evil you have been, there is often desire in being made new.

This is a dilution problem. The concentration of stock solution x volume of stock solution = concentration of dilute solution x volume of dilute solution. OR CsVs = CdVd
Here we have Cs = 4.20 M , Cd = 1.0M and Vd -= 1000 mL
Vs = 1 x 1000/4.2 = 238 mL

LOTS OF LUCK
