If you are leaving the answer in terms of π, then you don't need the value of π (3.14 etc).
Area = π times the radius squared
That is
A = π(9.5yd x 9.5yd)
You should be able to multiply 9.5x9.5 for yourself.
Take that number and put it in front of π.
The units will be sq yds (yd x yd)
Your answer should look like:
__________ π sq.yds.

Area= pi R ^2

so a circle with a radius of 9.5 has an area of pi * 9.5 ^2...

When you have quoted the formula of area of a circle correctly,then you could have easily solved it yourslf.
it is piX9.5X9.5yard^2=piX90.25 yd^2

It's Pi X 9.5 squared.
So the answer would be 9.5 X 9.5 Pi.
That would be 90.25 Pi.
Leave it as that and I
think you're good.
