If both people want to salvage the marriage, certainly.
But the person who has been cheated on must be willing to forgive and move on.
The cheater must also conceed to their mistakes and work hard to not repeat them.

It depends on the couple. If they are truly sorry about the mistake they made then i think forgivness can be given and the relationship can last as long as they are sincere about it.
I have to say though, i forgave a woman for cheating on me the first time and it only happend again, so in most cases no there isnt a way to salvage it. Sometimes you just have to face the facts and move on to prevent getting hurt a second time.

I cheated on my boyfriend 14 years ago. I apologized and truly meant it.
We are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this April.
I have NEVER cheated on him since and will never in future either. Yes, you can salvage a relationship after infidelity, but it is very hard and takes a lot of commitment and work.

No,I use to think that way too . Yes, there are ways to salvage it In some cases It has been said Realationships has gotten much stronger. I guess; one must first sit down and evaluate their realationship to really find out if it's worth salvaging or not.

Get rid of him. Anyone who cheats does NOT value the relationship they are in so obviously their interests are elsewhere. it's not even worth your time to try and salvage this one. Sorry.

Never. Once a person has cheated, they WILL always cheat. This person has check the waters to see if they can cheat and still keep you. Pathetic you will be if you let this loser/slutt go circles in your name. Move on to next treasure, this is a new year and a new love!!!

depends on the person.
For me personally, if you cheat, then its over. I dont see what type of a relationship you could have with someone if you can't trust them.
I had one of my friends go out with this guy for a year, he cheated on her, then she forgave him, and they went out for another couple of months till he cheated a second time...what I found funny was that she was considering to get back together with him....and she did. A couple months later her boyfriend told me that the only reason why he was going out with her was because he liked me, and that he wanted to get closer to me. He was a sleeze bag...I wouldn't go out with someone that cheated.
