I'm currently listening to The Fray (how to save a life- i like that song), Robbie Williams, Nirvana, KD Tunstall, System of a Down, Wolfmother, James Morrison, Norah Jones, Coldplay, corrine Bailey Rae etc. Can you recommend any music along these lines? I have pretty varied taste, but please, I don't want any Korn, Incubus or death metal/gothic music. Thanks!

If you don't want metal (I would have suggested Marilyn Manson, buuutt...), then some good bands and singers are Bif Naked, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Fitness, Daft Punk, Garbage, Twisted Sister, Pony up!, Regina Spektor, and Queen. Hope You Like Them!

Beethoven's Op. 13, Piano Sonata No. 8. The 1st and 3rd movements are brilliant but quite difficult and perhaps a bit disagreeable and it might not appeal. The 2nd movement is beautiful. :) You could probably learn them all quite well, though, as individual movements. Not too long. B For something comparatively simple, yet equally beautiful, why not try some Einaudi or Yiruma. Back to classical: Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, if you fancy a challenge. Also, Clair de Lune by Debussy is an absolutely remarkable piece, and is quite simple once you get the left hand's fingering under your belt. Good luck! Hope you get your enthusiasm back and get back upto standard. :)

You can't go wrong with Linkin Park. It's an alternative/rock/rap band. I'd recomend you listening to Numb, In The End, Somewhere I Belong, and Crawling since you seem to like slower type of songs. It involves a little screaming...but not death meatalish. They're real awesome...I know you'll like them. Or you can try OneRepublic, Yellowcard, Hoobastank, OHH! give Dredg a try...they're like on of my favorite bands. Try them all out :D
