What does it do? Cure colds? I'm clueless! And does it actually do whatever it's supposed to do? Any recomended brands?

Cold cream removes makeup by dissolving it. You then remove it w/tissues. It doesn't dry your skin like soap or some cleansers. I love Ponds - the one w/the green cap. At night, once you've removed the makeup, put a little touch to moisturize. See www.makeupalley.com for the rave reviews for this product - you will need a free membership.

Cold cream is a very greasy makeup remover cream. It also can be used to moisturize very dry skin.

I have used Pond's brand before. It works really well.

Well all I know is that my grandmother always used Pond's cold cream to remove her makeup. I think it smells pretty weird but it does do a good job of removing mascara.

Its just like a lotion almost, and it just feels cold. A lot of people use it like a makeup remover
