*Have a shcedule for him or her a routine so life is simple
*Interacting with other kids his or her age

As a teacher I'd say read to him, read to him, read to him. Surround him with books and read to him, but of course don't be suprised if he won't sit for awhole book or swtiches to a different book every minute or so. Singing songs is also great and so is just talking to him/her like when you're driving, changing diapers, etc. Way to be a proactive parent!

Read to him every day. Spend lots of time with him and explain things to him like take him for a walk and show him all the things in nature etc.

Sorry it's genetic! My son is way ahead of all the other children his age and I did not do a thing! It runs in my family. It helps to explain things when they ask though. He used to bring letters and numbers to me and I would tell him what they were, but I didn't unless he wanted to know. Good luck!

My sister taught my niece Sign Language, your baby may already be able to talk, but if there are some words they can't say use sign launguage, not only does it help you, it helps your baby to become smarter and avoid bad siuations.
