Ouch! I know the feeling and it hurts too...
The only way that I avoid them is to wax with a sugar based hair remover. It will hurt the first time but it will last and you won't get red bumps when the hair starts to grow. If you MUST shave don't forget to use shaving cream, preferably with aloe.
In the mean time.... Try hydrocortisone cream, it will help with the redness, itching and swelling.

Just some razor burn...or it could be an irritant from the cream/soap you are using. I find I have to use baby soap to prevent the bumps.

Also getting area dry before adding cloths is a must...just a little dampness will cause bumps as well.

I also find that I don't want to go over the area too many times also.

You may be re-shaving to soon.If I reshave to soon I get red bumps.Try to go at least a week before shaving there each time. And (if you are a woman) take a break while you are on your period. It gives the skin a break durring that time,so the next shave is smooth.Good luck!

Your body is trying to (as politely as possible) tell you that some places just were not meant to be shaved. Trim away as you will...but nix the shaving. Waxing can work better but the re-growth is a little "uncomfortable" if you know what I mean.

This is normal. "certain" places have very delicate skin that is easily irritated. Invest in a good quality aloe vera gel, (I buy it at the vitamin shoppe) and apply immediately after shaving to minimzize the irritation and help the skin to heal faster.

Unfortunately, I have tried everything and I get "rashy" every time I shave. I have tried special shaving creams and bikini zone(you apply this after you shave) nothing works for me.

dont do it without cream after you have, it means that u are allergic or have a reaction from the razors. I get that too, but its because im allergic too every king of metal exept gold and silver. I suggest you use veet, it doesnt leave that and gets rid of hair.
