well that jihad was totally justified to me as they were driving an invading army which came and attacked them they didn't start the violence they were just resbonding to it and retaking their cities in self defence.

The Muslims had an excuse- The Christians did it first, and they did. throughout t history, those claiming to be good Christians have usually been the Aggressors starting with eh crusades and continuing till Iraq.
