It appears that President Bush Sr. was squashing the imitation of President Fords imitator from SNL Chevy Chase. I'm questioning Chase's validity........Suddenly it no longer is funny...

Chase never did a good Pres. Ford. All he did was trip. He didn't even do it in hair/makeup to look like Ford nor did he do his voice.

I saw it, and thought President Bush was amusing.
Chevy Chase was never funny on SNL and I only like him in 1 movie - Vegas Vacation - and that is because his supporting cast is so funny.
Dana Carvey on the other hand was always hilarious!

I saw it and it was funny. Chevy Chase used to be funny. I don't see how his imitations of Ford were particularly funny though. I don't care for Chevy at all. He's become a typical hollywood left winger and also was unkind and unfunny toward Howard Stern many years ago.
