I have a project to do about the hisotry of the hair bush. Can someone give me a link to where it gives information on the history like: when was it created?, how is it evolved through time? ...etc

Please help I couldn't find anything online.

Brushes were used as early as 2,500,000 years ago in the cave paintings of Altamira in Spain and Périgord in France. The brushes were used to apply pigment to the cave walls. Brushes were later adapted and used for hair grooming.

*On this date in 1898 Lydia O. Newman of New York City acquired a patent for the hair brush.

Newman’s invention permitted easy cleaning by having a detachable unit which carried the brush and bristles. The patent number was 614,335.

Now that is what I call a good ?. I think a person saw out the window before the hair brush was made that lots of people had sticking up and messy hair so he made the brush so your hair would look neat and nice or It was mde to be cool and not be a hobo. One of the two is in mine brain

In stone age times they used porcupines to brush their hair and maybe hedgehogs too.
