It's not really safe to make your own make-up. I tried it when I was little because I liked to experiment, but it made my face get a rash and break out. My suggestion is to look for simplicity. You can get a Cover Girl compact for $4 that will last a couple months if used conservatively, lip gloss at the Dollar Tree, and eyeshadow by Wet-n-Wild for $2 that will last a very long time. A little make-up goes a long way; you'd be surprised at the difference. Also, when you get to the point of a compact where the center is worn out and there is a ring around the outside, crush up the rest and use it like powder make-up rather than throwing it away. I do this because I hate to be wasteful. Good luck!

No, I don't think so....but stores like Wal-Mart has some very inexpensive brands of make-up or check out the weekly sale flyer for Walgreens and CVS, they often have buy one, get one free.
Good luck and hope you financial situation improves soon.
