"Little Miss Sunshine"
The premise was simple, the cast mostly lesser-known, and the goal was to get to a children's beauty pageant. Who would have thought it could have been the best movie of the year? It's been ages since a movie has made me laugh until I cried, and this one did, both times I saw it in the theater. Every character was believable and acted appropriately from beginning to end of the film. Plus, the ensemble was great, brilliantly cast!

No matter how much I love superheroes, the best movie would have to be the Departed or Blood Diamond. Those had amazing actors and a mind blowing script.
