what was the name of the TV show with a character named "Jenkins?" I'm not sure, but I think the character was African-American.

Maybe "227" on tvland. The family is african american and their last name is Jenkins but I could be wrong.

Can you be alittle more specific? there are several shows that feature African-Americans.
"The Jefferson's" and "Sanford and Son" are two that come to mind.
